For http://www.octpowrimo.com/2014/10/octpowrimo-day-2-today-is-more-than.html challenge day 2
I too used to have a heart
To which i used to cling,
And then came the man
who stole my dream.
Two days and two nights
I stayed wide awake,
So I thought may be
I could bake a cake,
Then I found that the man too
Loved to eat and drink.
A chili chocolate it was
A mess it made in the sink.
Through his stomach
I stole his heart
In exchange of mine
Now I can say 'I am fine'
Thought of writing a funny poem this time.

It worked! I love starting my day with a chuckle and making that chuckle poetically based? Even better.
Wait, is this heaven?
No, its OctPoWriMo!
Just checking.... :-)
Well done!!
very rhythmic..:)
They do say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.
My husband is actually a better cook than I am. We generally like to cook together when possible. I do the prep work. I enjoy slicing and mixing things. He likes to do the actual cooking. He's much more attentive than I am to stirring, flipping, basting. Together we make a pretty good meal!
