yet lucky for me
though poor Friday the thirteenth
makes me nervous and panic.
Thought of writing a Tanka (my first try).
The number prompt made me remember the poem"unknown citizen" by W H Auden...where the citizen was known by a number.

Thirteen is okay by me, though in fairness I used to be a lot more superstitious than I am now. Thirteen, never having harmed me in any way despite its bad reputation, has redeemed itself!
Love that Auden poem! I don't mind 13 either, but if it falls on Friday, I do try to stay in the house. I imaging a zombie apocalypse beginning on Friday 13th and that's never gonna be a good day! :)
